Our Counsellors are trauma-informed and especially influenced by Person-Centered therapy, integrating evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, Somatic and Narrative Therapy. They believe that we are all unique individuals that bring a multitude of aspects that influence how we all experience and heal differently. Our counsellors at Ilumina have experience working with youth from twelve years to eighteen. We truly believe the therapeutic relationship improves with time and we value our client’s pace. We are here to help your teenage kid to overcome challenges in school, become more secure in their relationships, learn how to deal with anxiety and depression as well as family challenges such as divorce or a loss of a loved one.

The CalmMind Experience session provides the much-needed space and support to pause, reset, and realign with your inner self, claim your body, and regain a sense of safety.
Energy Balancing/Reiki
Energy balancing sessions aim to restore harmony within the body's energy flow, addressing imbalances that can impact physical, emotional, and mental well-being. By aligning and clearing energy centers, known as chakras, these sessions promote stress reduction, emotional healing, and vitality enhancement. The sessions take a holistic approach and may incorporate Reiki techniques, healing touch, sound-healing, aromatherapy, crystal therapy and more to address energetic imbalances comprehensively. To soothe symptoms linked to past traumas, Shamanic Reiki sessions are recommended. These sessions aim to restore harmony related to deeper wounds.
